Toledo Revival is the creation of Erin Claussen, an archaeologist who’s evolved into a preservationist and small real estate developer. She has always been drawn to old things and the stories that they tell—one in particular, a building known as Hotel Royal in Toledo’s Middlegrounds Neighborhood. Erin purchased the hotel in 2017 and founded Toledo Revival as the face of her consulting and real estate (re)development business and set to work on a plan to breathe life back into Hotel Royal.

During her patient and diligent work restoring the hotel, Erin collected an abundance of beautiful old things. So it was only natural that she would go on to create a shop to sell those remarkable goods discovered throughout her adventures into Toledo’s past.

Enter—Revival Flea, an online shop that brings tightly curated vintage goods to people who appreciate and love eccentricities. From its conception, the shop has given 10% of all sales plus a personal to match to meaningful charities in the name of a lost friend. The shop will soon find its home on the first floor of the newly revived Hotel Royal building at 337 Broadway St..
