The Berkeley Marina
The Berkeley Marina needed to reposition its brand in order to win back customers and their trust after recent PR challenges and infrastructure decline. The marina was positioned as a division of the city parks department and its offerings were getting lost in the outdated and unorganized web pages of other city departments.
As an Art Director at Everwild, I helped the marina to reorganize their online presence with a stand-alone web page design that put them on the map as a destination for boaters from all over as well as a simplified brand identity and look that helped them break away from old stigmas. I also designed a direct mail campaign featuring a limited edition post-card series that encouraged boaters to visit and invite their friends to the new and improved Marina. Through the sales-focused website and email and direct mail campaigns, we were able to drive promotional offers and encourage more tours.
